South Australians will be able to fly direct to the beautiful island paradise of Fiji, with the national airline Fiji Airways from mid-2017. Fiji Airways have announced plans for a twice weekly direct service from Adelaide to Nadi starting from Friday, June 30.
The new route will also be a gateway for flights to the USA, including Los Angeles and San Francisco, via Nadi. The new service was also good news for SA’s sizeable Fijian community. Fiji Airways are delighted to launch the airlines fourth Australian route, after Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.
The new leg will connect South Australians with other South Pacific regions including Tonga, Samoa and Vanuatu, via Nadi, and comes as the airline announces its new B737 Max 8 aircraft. Fiji Airways will fly on Mondays and Fridays — departing Adelaide at 10pm, with return flights from Nadi leaving at 4.30pm.
