All aboard the Spirit of Tasmania!

Welcome to our 12-day tour to the Apple Isle. To bring us to our destination, we’re going to take the Spirit of Tasmania. We’ll have enough time to rest on board before arriving in Tasmania.  We head down south to Deloraine to visit Ashgrove cheese and the Yarn artwork. After that, we head to Launceston. Launceston is the second largest city in Tasmania. While we’re there, we’ll have time to visit the Cataract Gorge. Feel free to take your time to take pictures and ride the chairlift that crosses the gorge.

A Day for Nature

Don’t you just love how rhododendrons and lavenders just brighten up any room? Well, how about visiting a garden full of them? We’ll visit the Walker heritage Rhododendron Gardens right after we’ve had our breakfast. You can wander through the 100-acre property and appreciate the majestic rhododendrons and trees in the area. We’ll have our morning tea at Bridestowe Lavender Estate where you’ll get to be surrounded by the finest quality lavender flowers while sipping tea paired with lavender scones.

A Cruise along the Freycinet Coastline

We’ve had our time on land; now we’ll spend a day on the water. We’ll start the day by boarding the Wine Glass Bay cruise. Our guide will share his knowledge about the stunning coastline as we dock to Wineglass Bay. Our day doesn’t end there because we’ll have the opportunity to try freshly shucked Freycinet Marine Farm oysters along with a glass of Spring Vale sparkling wine. And do you know what goes well with wine? The creamy Ashgrove farm cheeses. Wineglass Bay is also home to abundant wildlife such as dolphins, seals, albatross and sea eagles. This is a stop you don’t want to miss!

Shopping at the Salamanca Markets

Did you know that the Salamanca Markets have been operating since 1972? It has grown to over 300 stalls today! Salamanca Markets have a wide variety of products, so there’s certainly something for everyone. Take your time to go through the stalls and bring home a trinket or two. After that, we’ll meet up at The Museum of Old and New Art. The museum is uniquely carved out of sandstone cliff. It offers a “subversive adult Disneyland” for all its guests.

There are so many exciting activities waiting for you on this trip so don't let this incredible opportunity pass you by!
